The Best Of THE EAGLES
On Thursday 8th June 2000 I went back to the Town Hall, Cheltenham to see a second tribute band to THE EAGLES called TALON.
The line-up being:-
The first half of the show was dedicated to the 'Hell Freezes Over' acoustic set and started with Hotel California. Other songs performed in this half included Tequila Sunrise, Best Of My Love, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Witchy Woman, and Pretty Maids All In A Row, all of which feature on their second CD on Big Red Records BR09 called 'TALON Live'.
The second half which was an electric set started with One Of These Nights with other songs such as New Kid In Town, Life In The Fast Lane, Desperado, Lyin' Eyes, and Take It To The Limit, also being performed before they closed the show with the Original electric version of Hotel California.
One of the best tracks performed was The Last Resort which was superb.
